Cross play Dynasty Game NOT loading

So a friend and I (on different consoles) have played 2 seasons of dynasty so far, playing at least 3 times already. For whatever reason for our most recent game we will be readied up and it will load for about 90 seconds before we both back out to the dynasty again. No error screen appearing. Anyone else dealing with this. Both games updated, WiFi both working well.
