Custom Conferences Issue?

In my Mizzu St Dynasty w/ custom conferences, every conference has at least 12 teams w/ a couple having more (I think 16 is the largest).  Two conferences have divisions while the rest don't.  8 games; Protected Rivals OFF.

At the start of my 2nd season, my schedule has ZERO conference games.  And checking other teams/conferences, every team shows "byes" for the entire season.   ???   I don't know if this is because of some conferences having divisions and some not, or if the recent update messed up custom conferences.
