Formation subs is 100% broken across the board. Currently I’m the OC at JMU using Rice’s playbook. I don’t have any issues using it during my games but when I go to change my formation subs it’s defaults to JMU’s playbook. I’ve experienced this in my online and offline dynasty.
Formation sub should be optional. Because formation sub has my third string running back starting what is the point of the depth chart when formation sub determines who is playing
Yeah very frustrating. They didn’t think about custom playbooks at all for this edition. Formation subs, coach suggestions, and default scheme in dynasty are all broken with custom playbooks. Most of that stuff worked well last year too.
I agree, the same thing happens with my custom playbook. I use Michigan’s playbook but I add more formations, but when it’s time to formation substitutions those added formations and plays are not accessible for substitution.
