Offered a Extended contract coach was fired the next week

So im in a competitive online dynasty League and I offered my offensive coordinator a extended contract it cleary said offer pending.  They Advanced the next week and it said my coach was fired is this a glitch or bug cause being force to find a new coach it's cool man im putting to much time to compete to be screwed over like this EA
