Proximity to Home Grade Adjustments for Teambuilder Teams

While I do appreciate the added customization to Team Builder this year, I'm a bit disappointed in the fact that our teams aren't able to take on the locations of the states they are listed in, but rather keep the school they replace. 

I'm currently doing teambuilder dynasty with a small school in California, and would love to build rivalries with all the CA schools in the game without sacrificing one for the sake of the proximity to home grades. Additionally, with the crazier transfer portal this year, I'm unable to get those "safer" recruits from the California talent pool because of the poor grades.

I don't know much about coding or what goes into making games, but if the game is able to recognize that a Teambuilder team based in CA is not suppose to get snow during their games, then what's to say that the game can recognize the location in relationship to proximity to home games.
