Recruit locked out

In the NCAA game, when you were locked out with a recruit, you could break the lockout and get a chance to keep recruiting players.  Now when I’m locked out, I feel like I have no chance to keep recruiting the player.  Is there a way to break the lockout and keep recruiting players?
