I'm gonna leave you guys another tip bases on me playing both CFB 25 and CFB 26.
Once you get to the point, where you've won enough game such as the screenshot, you need to make a decision. You can try and grind to hopefully make the CFP or just play for fun.
Ill admit the more times I've tried to make the CFP at this point I win just enough games to stay at the same division( vs promotion or demotion).
My suggestion...Promotion doesn't lead to making the cfp.
If you can't make the CFP in say upperclassmen your **bleep** sure gonna struggle on higher division.
