College Football 26: Missing content

These issues are on PS5 console – College Football 26: EA Sports model is “EA Sports, it’s in the game.” So, why do we have so many missing items from the College Football 26 title. Here are a few items that are missing from the College football 26 title that can help the College Football sports title if added and drastically boosts sales:

Have a real pregame show that’s uses an EA Table (similar to ESPN) that reflects the top 25 college football matchups. In the background of this EA table, you should have the College/University background that reflects the game of the week. For example, if Ohio State is playing at Michigan, Michigan University campus and fans should be in the background behind the EA Table screaming and cheering for their team as the announcers make their picks for the week. Have the announcers discuss which teams are favored in their matchups with odds, announcers pick for game winners (with mascot head for featured game that week), and discusses key matchups for top 25 teams. This should be an authentic experience and should last for 8-10 minutes. (Allow users to skip this feature).

Next, At Halftime interview both coaches going to the locker room and what adjustments need to be made. Next, have a real in-depth halftime show the shows scores and highlight videos from around college football. The highlight videos should be similar to that of ESPN NFL 2K5 Halftime show. But just make it EA Sports College Football halftime show. In addition to this, show score and highlights from current game with videos. After halftime interview both coaches running back to the field discussing in-game adjustments. Also, throughout the entire college football game, there should be a ticker at the bottom of the screen next to the new EA Sports score bug that reflects all college football scores and updates around college football. When a big upset is brewing on the ticker the sports announcers should address it.

Next, have a real post-game show that interviews the winning coach and the stars of the game on the football field. After this, interview the losing coach and the stars that did not perform on the field at the press conference where they are sitting at an EA press conference table discussing the miscues and what went wrong in the game.

Next, have additional/multiple broadcast teams. Gus Johnson & Joe Klatt For noon Kickoffs (Fox’s Sports). Brad Nessley & Gary Danielson for 3:30pm Kickoffs (CBS Sports). Joe Tessitore & Sean McDonough (ABC/ESPN Sports). Along with the current announcers already in the game. Have sideline reporters (Holly Rowe & Laura Rutledge) on both team sidelines with interviews prior to the game, prior to halftime, after halftime, and after the game and throughout the game with injury updates.

Next, replace field lines with real Transparent 1st Down Markers and Chains on Both Sides of the football field that are visible and that move with each offensive play. Hurry-up Offensive plays should have at least an 8 to 10 second run off of the clock on plays in-bounds. Coach Gatorade baths for big wins after game and with 1 minute left to go in game. Have real players 50 plus on both football sidelines that move like the coaches on the sideline. In rivalry games, make it feel like a real rivalry game. Have both teams meet at midfield trash talking one another and getting hyped with pushing and other effects. Have both benches very lively and overly enthusiastic with each play. After the big rivalry game have the winning visitor’s team plant their flag at midfield of the home team to stir up the next game rivalry and to add the drama of the post-game interviews.

Have real blocked punts instead of computer tackling punter. Have real field goal blocking. Have better special team blocking. Have better overall special teams that allows for both punt and kickoff return touchdowns. Have teams go for it more on 4th and less than 2 yards. Have teams go for it more inside the 2 yard line. Have active injury tent on both sides of field that shows players going in and out of tent. Have ambulance come onto football field for serious injuries (like in the old Tecmo bowl football games). Have injured players on the field get placed on a stretcher and loaded on a riding cart and driven off the field for major injuries. For mild injuries show players walking back to the locker room with injury update from sideline announcers.

Next, Display the full 4 to 5 minute real team intros before home football games. (Allow users to skip this feature). Example: Show Virginia Tech Hokies walking from their locker room holding the American flag, Virginia State Flag, and the University Flag as they walk to the tunnel. And then getting hyped up in the tunnel as they enter the field playing sandmen. All while having the sports announcers getting excited about the entrance. (This is authentic college football)

Next, College Football team uniform expansion should cover that university and or college football program's entire history. A simple way to do this is to create 1 uniform combination design from each decade that the college/university team has been in existence. In addition to these uniform combinations, all unique team uniform combinations should be added, and all current/future uniform combination should be added as well. This will reflect a true college football program with respect to its past, present, and future students, alumni, and representatives.

Next, every College Football team/program should have customizable equipment and gear where they can choose to use school logos or school branding on all pieces of equipment or gear and place these logos and brands where they choose. For example, football gloves, back plates, and cleats should have the option of using the school’s logo or brand without it being locked/preset. Helmet stickers should be an option in college football 26. If a college football program uses helmet stickers, they should be in the game. Also, team specific branded football should be in the game. (See attachment below)

Also, Wisconsin – House of pain “Jump Around” music to the end of the 3rd quarter for Wisconsin Badgers home games needs to be added to this College Football 26 title. Have different cheerleads and bandmembers for each college football team. Each year add 3000 new fans until EA has a total of 100,000 different fans.

Next, Team Builder teams neutral site games which are missing teams’ information in the endzone. It only shows school colors in the endzone. This can be fixed by simply using Team Builder Teams home endzones to be represented at neutral site games. This should be an easy fix that has been constantly ignored. Second, Team builder should be expanded from 5MB to 10MB per team to allow for true authenticity of customizations. Third, Team builder should add vintage leather throwback helmet designs, vintage uniform designs (sweater style), and vintage pants designs when customizing a team in team builder. Also, team branding on all equipment, gear, and uniforms should be expanded upon. These options should be readily available in Team Builder.

All FCS College Football should be created and added to College Football 27 next year’s title. Not these make-believe studios created FCS teams like the pandas etc. that are not even real college football programs.

I am aware that EA Sports are trying to spread things out over a few titles to make money. However, if EA Sports dops the ball on this College Football title, they could lose billions in revenue. It’s important to strike now while everyone is hyped about this College Football game. College Football could look totally different in 10 years and people could lose interest. I have thousands of ideas that can be added to the College Football sports title that can add to the game over the next 50 years plus, not to mention the constant college football updates each year throughout college sports. If EA Sports adds everything that die hard college football fans are requesting along with their own new ideas, I believe this video game title could crack 1 billion in revenue sales each year.

Below are some photos/images for customizable options for equipment and gear requested for gloves, back plates, hand warmer etc.
