LT glitch

When im playing defense and I strafe with my user using LT (or offense if i accidently press it) i get a pop up saying "suggest pass" "suggest run" "suggest deep pass" etc. and my defender completely freezes causing the opponent to get free yards. Is this happening to anyone else? I havent found any information online about it and it is extremely frustrating as im forced to not strafe. Does anyone know the fix if so? Please help this bug is extremely extremely frustrating.
