Players not returned upon set completion

I completed the cam newton set on cfb 26 ultimate team and did not get my players back. Set is listed as “items returned upon completion”. Playing on Xbox series x. I have tried using the chat help bot 3 times and gotten absolutely nowhere this is incredibly frustrating I spent over a million coins to complete the set and feel cheated. I should have just bought the player if I knew I wouldn’t get bnd players returned.
