Re: Offline progression should not be monetized

I have had played college football from a very young age it was dream to play college football from very young age and this was the avenue I would use to let my mind get to that dream of place. Now obviously my dreams didn’t come to reality. Now this is something I do to burn some time get me ready for the football season. Build up the hype so to speak. I think it is an absolute abysmal to have micro transactions to do whatever I want to do with my coach/player. I already paid 150 dollars for a membership. NOW you want me to pay ADDITIONAL money to do what I want. Why does something simple have to be so complicated. What more could you possibly want from me as player, screw the micro transactions I want to be able to play with my team and take them to a national championship wether that be in the 1st year or the 50th. It already is hard enough for some people to make a living and pay for simple things. Some people bust their tail day and night and just want to play CFB with some homies from back home to feel like a kid again but low and behold I get snapped back to reality having to pay something that doesn’t even require internet. Get rid of it change it back.

    I’m curious. Question for OP and all who have replied. Have you all played the game for yourselves yet or are you upset because someone else told you to be? I know I’ll receive backlash and people will say I’m creating excuses for a billion dollar company but that isn’t my perspective at all (trust me I’ve been holding EA accountable for years). But I’m finding there are a ton of people upset who have either A, not played the game yet or B, are upset simply because it is in the game. Some of you act as if it’s not possible to still play dynasty WITHOUT spending money. I’ve played a season with Hawaii went 7-6 won a bowl game and my coach is a level 16. After one season that wasn’t the GREATEST…that feels like a fair level to be at. For online dynasty players that play in large online leagues this feels no different than 2K offering the option to purchase upgrades for several builds. For those that truly play solo, it’s my understanding you can play offline and have full coach xp sliders.  For RTG players I can understand slight frustration with it being completely cpu but it’s my understanding you can reach low 90’s by your junior year just by playing the game and progressing naturally as it was intended. Idk just feel like this is all being blown a bit out of proportion…this microtransaction concept isn’t new at all.

    I was so excited to get back into an online dynasty with my friends, but we all refuse to purchase the game with this micro transaction nonsense. 

    Acting like you fixed the problem by putting back in one setting for dynasty while keeping the micro transactions won't cut it.  EA needs to do the right thing

    EA fix it!  Remove microtransactions and and restore xp gains options!  I want to play my way and have fun on my terms, not yours!

    I’m not buying the game until the micro transactions in an offline mode are removed. I’ve logged over 1000 hrs on 25 & 26 combined and I loved my time with these games. However I won’t buy the new one until something changes. #CFBPlayDontPay

    I 2nd this! I’m a longtime player of EA college football games since the 05 Reggie Bush days. I bought CFB2025 and 2026. But I won’t be buying 2027 until they get rid of the micro transactions in Road to Glory and Dynasty Modes. #CFBPLAYDONTPAY.

    Getting rid of Fast and Fastest Coach XP setting in Dynasty and XP Sliders in Road To Glory modes for microtransactions without notifying anybody about this was a D*** move. I so badly want my refund. The game is not enjoyable to me because I like all my XP setting set to the highest levels for both modes. Like WTF
