Default defense position fixes
The first 2 should be pretty easy to fix as it should only require a simple coding thing to change out the default position in a formation.
4-2-5 linebackers
The default for the 2 linebackers in this formation are from the sub LB depth chart, which totally makes your Mike and Will depth chart moot. This is broken because in base settings, you should be able to have your depth chart applied. If I have all my Mike linebacker's as thumpers, I want their replacement to be a thumper, and if my Will is a lurker, I want him replaced by another Will lurker, not just sub LB number three. I can run Nickel packages to use those sub LBs. Speaking of Nickel that brings me to the second formation.
3-3-5 tite Mint Nickel
This set currently uses three defensive tackles, DT1, NT, DT2, on the defensive line when every team in college football actually has the right end, DT1, as an actually edge player. Since it is a nickel formation, there is already the sub RLE used in place of the Sam linebacker. I feel the RRE should be used in place of DT1, and DT1 replaces DT2. This is represented by every teams depth chart currently running the 3-3-5 mint.
The last one is a bit more complex, as it may need a subcategory depth created like the NT.
All 3-3-5 sets minus the tite
Like the 3-3-5 tite, this set defaults using the DT1, NT, DT2 defensive line. EDGE players are barely used. These typical stack formations actually use smaller defensive ends in a RDE, NT LDE formation in most cases. Some run DE, NT, DT lines but the DE is usually 250ish, far from a DT. Making DT1 a REDG and DT2 a LEDG is my first thought, but then you end up having a very large LEDG which would transition weird if you use a 3-4 formation and those become the OLBs. Creating a DE1 and DE2 category like the NT depth could fix that. DE1 could be all guys 250 to 275, DE2 could be the same or heavier like a DT. That way instead of the 3-3-5 fronts being DT1, NT, DT2 it would be more appropriately DE1, NT, DE2.
I know the last one is more complex and may need some development, but the 4-2-5 and Mint Nickel could be fixed with a patch.
