Kaleb Maryland speed & throwing corrections
I appreciate the work that’s gone into the player ratings, but I think Kaleb Maryland (Utah State QB) could use another look.
My concern isn’t his overall—it’s that some of the individual attribute ratings don’t seem to match his verified athletic testing and high school production

Verified Athletic Testing
- 10.48 FAT 100m
- 4.42 laser 40-yard dash (UA next camp)
Those are elite numbers for a quarterback. An 83 Speed rating feels significantly lower than what those verified times suggest. A speed rating 92-95 would seem more representative. I mean look at his acceleration at 86 this should easily be in 94 or better- it’s not everyday you have QBs with these type of verified sprint times
His passing ratings also appear conservative considering his résumé:
- Texas 6A Division I State Champion
- Approximately 3,500 passing yards
- 35 passing TDs
- Around 500 rushing yards
- 10 rushing TDs
I’m not asking for an inflated overall rating because of recruiting status. I understand that three-star freshmen are generally rated lower than blue-chip recruits especially when they aren’t at a P4 school. My feedback is simply that the individual athletic and throwing attributes should better reflect verified testing and on-field production, even if the overall remains around 70.
