Play action blocking

The blocking on some play action passes is brutal. It seems like its the ones that you cant adjust the blocking for, instead of just normal pass blocking they try and cut block or just go straight at the d linemen instead of forming a pocket like normal passing plays and get beat badly. On some of the plays like bootlegs it makes sense that it isnt normal pass blocking but on others it just feels like a mistake like in the bunch te str formation there is a play action double post that seems like it should be blocked normal since its a deep pass but instead you get linemen trying to cut block and even leaving the defensive end unblocked sometimes.
