Invalid Schedule

Began my season 8 offseason, everything was fine, I get to custom schedule and suddenly I'm told it's invalid and the default schedule will be put back. This has never happened before to me. I'm playing on Xbox. I haven't made any custom conference changes for 2 full seasons.
