Player Archetype Fluidity
One thing that has always bothered me in cfb is that players are locked into their archetypes. Players should be limited by their skill and ability, not their archetype. A players archetype should just be an indicator on how they play and it should naturally adjust as they develop as many players irl do. For instance, if a QB comes out of highschool as a pure runner, but through development because a better passer and raises their IQ, they should naturally transition into any of the other archetypes. The game already naturally does this from year to year. Many true freshman QB's in the game last year were listed as Pure Runners and now are not as they have progressed. This would also create more dynamic players. Especially if you allow them to have any physical abilities that their stats allow them to, and even more than 5. If a player like Jeremiah Smith is 99 overall as a sophomore, and a truly elite player, he should feel like it in game and his abilities should span the archetypes not be limited to his archetype. In fact, the game actually does this for players like Smith, but you can't repeat that in game. I think merging cfb progression to and maddens progression system would make sense.
