Team Builder Team not loading

I created my first team; after starting my first dynasty I wanted to add more attributes to the team. I DELETED the first team I created and made a brand new team from scratch to include the pieces I forgot from the first team. I clicked SAVE and SUBMIT and turned the computer off.  I completely signed out of EA, turned my console  off and went to bed. The next day I got back on my EA account from my laptop. The new team was still on my "MY TEAMS" page, I opened the EDIT feature to make sure all the additions were still intact. They were SO I DID NOT CHANGE ANYTHING! I clicked SAVE and SUBMIT once again, to make sure it was uploaded. I turned the console on and tried to start a new dynasty. The only available team to import was the first team that was deleted the previous day. WHAT AM I MISSING or NOT DOING?????
