Failed to launch game. EA app issues

Having the same issue but with the EA play pro edition which comes with the same early access, tried repairing app and uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.

Hi there. I preordered the Deluxe version of College football 27 and Madden 27 on steam. I have preloaded the game. It is supposed to have released a little under 20 min ago. When I click the 'Play' button on steam, It redirects me to the EA App. Which them gives me the error :

Failed to launch game. and error on our end caused the launch to fail

I have tried restarting computer, Logging out and logging back in, Reinstalling, app recovery. Nothing is working. Can someone give me any other tips to get the game to run. I would prefer to keep my purchase on steam

When I click play, it starts loading something, and it appears to get stuck on the Authentication screen. Has anyone found a fix?

Thanks for the response. I tried that but had no luck. I will upload a video of exactly what is happening. Thank you for your help!

FYI: I am on windows 11. Originally I had the EA play trial on a different account that I purchased directly through EA. The game worked when I had that. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled when I got the game on steam. I would prefer to keep the game on steam as I can't get a refund to my bank as I used steam account money to purchase the bundle.

There is probably some disconnect happening between steam and EA App.

I purchased this game on Steam. When I try to launch the game,  I keep getting a launcher error message.

It happens when the game is trying to authenticate. The error message keeps telling me to try again later. This problem has been ongoing for 3h hours.

It clearly is an error happening on the EA Launcher.
