Add incentive for players to maintain 10/10 fuel, while also ordering crates.

I think it's a good idea to give players more incentive to play more often throughout the day by adding some kind of reward for keeping their fuel full at 10/10, while simultaneously ordering crates (fuel is used to order crates, and re-roll bounties).

As it stands right now ordering a crate costs 1 [or 2] fuel, and they arrive between 7 to 3hrs, often leaving the player with less than 10 fuel...  This is an opportunity to reward players that simultaneously order crates, and maintain 10/10 fuel.

What kind of "reward" can you guys think of?  For example:

- Decrease crate arrival time

- Earn credits per hour

- Slowly construct an extra Cloning Bay

  • Like the cloning idea but probably too "generous."  Another idea is earn 10 credits per extra fuel.

Interesting idea of rewarding 10 credits per fuel, I was thinking it'd work differently: i.e. the player would receive 10 credits per hour of full fuel.  ...This is why it's good to share ideas, because I wouldn't have thought of it as you have.

As for balancing the Cloning Lab idea, yes that'd be pretty difficult.  My idea would be some kind of progress bar (similar to how card packs fill the Vault), maybe for every hour a player is ordering a crate and has 10/10 fuel they'd receive 2 or 3% progress towards a fully functional Lab.

    Any other ideas guys/gals?

  • I think the original setup, where you have a strong incentive to play 10 games per day but not more, was good. That already got disimproved by the 30 battles per cloning chamber thing every 24 hours. I think we should not go further down that road. Not everybody has the time to play dozens of games each day.

  • ^ I've been anticipating a reply about "players not having time to play a bunch," and I don't think it really should matter that players are incentivized to play 30 games a day to unlock their Labs...  I've never bothered to play more than 10 games a day, unless I'm just itching to play using some fun/weird units teamed up.  With that said, this wouldn't affect anyone negatively, it just makes players that play often feel like they're getting more out of the game - and by having these high game-playing players in our community, we all win because it means more games can be found at any time of day!
