Can't connect to online server
I bought the origin humble bundle today which includes Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour, I wanted to play online but i got an error message saying 'can't connect to online server.' So help...

By heading to http://cnc-online.net/ you are told that you must download GenToll in order to play online..
When I follow their link to gentool.net my browser alerts me, that it is a harmful site.
First I closed it down as I don't want to have any * on my computer.
Then I put some courage together and went through anyway to start download GenTool..
Upon download I encountered a Trojan.. I removed the *.. I removed GenTool..
Please enlighten me.. Is picking up this Trojan the only way to play this game online?
I think there is a decent amount of players on GameRanger too, maybe give that one a try
