C&C Generals won't play on windows 8.1

I just bought the Ultimate Collection and downloaded all the games. Generals and Generals Zero Hour will not play. When I launch from Origin, I get a pop-up that allows me to select from Generals or ...

Thanks, it worked!

But i bought the game in Germany (the Ultimate Collection) and the game has installed in german. Is there any method of enabling english for both text and sound in the game?
