It's the "command line arguments" text box you can fill in. See this thread for the full explanation with images:

I'm not sure if the "-w" is actually necessary, though; I suspect this is to run the game in Windowed mode. I suggest you start by just disabling the Origin In Game thing and trying with that.
If the option is greyed out, this means you tried to launch the game, and due to the malfunction, Origin thinks it's still running. To fix that, either kill the game launcher in the Task Manager, or just restart your computer.

ok i have tried everything i have seen on here and nothing has worked, i disabled origins, did the -w or -win (i did both), made a options.ini and pasted everything, changed to a different compatibly form 2000 to windows 7 and everything in between. changes the res. changed the color to 8 bit, run as admin. and i did them one at a time seeing if the next one would work and nope please help!

I had the same problem and nothing worked. However, I finally found the solution. Instead of making the Generals.exe file run in compatibility mode, set origin.exe to run as administrator. I set all of the other changes back and it still works as long as origin.exe is set to run as administrator. Hope that helps!
