C&C Generals Zero Hour - Mini Maps not showing in game

Hi all,

The game launches just fine, a bit of lag here and there but nothing ridiculous.

My biggest problem is the mini-map doesn't show up. (is blank)

This is a big problem for an RTS game of course...

Please tell me someone knows how to fix this?

    Did you ever get a resolution to this problem?   I bought and loaded the game again off Steam since the old DVDs no longer install.

    The game works fine for the most part, but, weirdly, an isolated game function like this would be missing.  I agree that it's a huge part of being able to see in the game, so needed.
