That seems like an issue with the EA app, not with the game. RA2 never had any activation dialogs like that.
Did you try running the game directly from its install folder? If that works, it completely proves it's not an issue with the game.

thx for your reply. Yes i tried this, and set it in compatibility mode as well as start it explicit with administrative rights, nothing helped.
All results are the same, i get the activtion screen. Maybe it is because it is a german game, iam from germany. I attach the failaure as jpg, hope it will help a little, but as i mentioned, its german language.I dont have any other ideas, starting any exe, ra2, ra2launcher or game, all ends here.
