I purchased C&C Ultimate and none of them will install I continue to get the Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot Continue (-2147024703) . I went to the Microsoft page and downloaded all of the VC++ packets individually and re-installed/Repaired them and Still no luck, what can I do?
Additionally, does this error also occur with other non-The Ultimate Collection games? Can you list the ones that do and don't result in this error being thrown at you? That can help us narrow down the cause 🙂

Generals & Renegade & Tiberian sun - firestorm show as installed but require updates and i can't lunch
C&c 3 and red Alert 3 don't download nor install and shows the same error

@OgreNagyI would advice to then do something very drastic; uninstall all instances/versions of "Microsoft VC++ runtime redistributable" through Window's "Add or remove programs", then uninstall the EA App, re-install the EA App, uninstall the affected games through the EA App and then subsequently re-install them. This should re-trigger the "VC++ runtime redistributable" installations that are needed by both the EA App as well as the games themselves.
Likely one of the versions of "VC++ runtime redistributable" installs on your system somehow has a corruption or is using a different version of it than the one actually required, but it is impossible to determine for me which exactly. That's why I'm advising this drastic solution. Do mind that this can possibly cause problems with other applications then also showing a "VC++ runtime redistributable" error as they could suddenly be missing other version of that that they rely on. Then just simply re-install those programs to fix it.
