Every time I try to Launch command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 and yuris revenge I keep getting a message that says ***Fatal*** string manager failed to initialize properly can this be fixed
Community Admin@keiran1978 Hey, it sounds like you have a permissions issue, please try the steps below.
"***FATAL*** String Manager Failed to Initialize Properly" error on Vista/7: To fix this error, make sure the game is running as Administrator:
Browse to the game folder, right click on "Game.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Tick "Run This Program as an Administrator".
Do that for all .exe (application) files in the RA2 folder.
Note: This error can also occur if you do not install as Admin (See top of guide!)

It’s ra2 digital collection from EA. On the files i converted to “run as admin” on all file applications. My computer is Acer with microsoft. No mods or any sort is in.
I have windows 11. And the compatibility goes up to windows 8.
in summary:
I have Windows 11/ Acer laptop. I have changes all "application" files to run as administrator....still getting the Fatal message. This is disappointing. I dont know any other way to get RA2 to open. What am i doing wrong or what do i need to do???
