Command and Conquer: Generals & Zero hour - save the game

Hello

I recently installed the pack "Command and Conquer: The Ultimate Collection", but only with the games " Generals" and "Generals: Zero Hour", i can't save the game. A message "error" appears on the screen but i can correctly play with the game.(see the attached file)

Windows10 pro 64 bit - game in mode Administrator and compatibility Windows XP service pack 3.

    @gonchr1970 Do you have the game installed on the same drive as your My Documents folder?

    Hello Darko

    I checked my Antivirus (Bitdender) and I allowed the backup in the files "My documents" .

    The problem is solved.

    Hello, can you advise what you did?

    I am having the same problem, I keep getting error messages when saving the game.

    Very frustrating, i have read online to change the save types but noticed this so could you advise what you did?

    Had the same issue - turns out BitDefender antivirus was blocking the game every time it tried to save (as it was trying to make changes to a 'protected' folder). If you allow access within the antivirus for the game, it'll save fine
