I just bought this game the other day and downloaded it and i am trying to get it to launch but nothing is happening. i get to a screen that lets me choose either generals or generals zero hour, ive clicked on both multiple times with nothing happening. this is the first time ive got a game from origins. is there something else i need to do to get the game to work ?

Download and install the DirectX 9.0c components. The later DirectX versions are missing some of the stuff in them which is needed by a lot of older games.
to fix this issue in Origin.. Right click the C&C Generals & Zero Hour and pick Game Properties in the box that open ups simply put "-Win" without quotes and it is fixed.... i had same issue and this simple step fixed it
