The "On The House" feature has been used to give out other games in the past, so everyone knew it was just a matter of time before it'd get replaced.
And no, it never actually existed as separate product on the Origin store; the "On The House" version was really just the one from the Ultimate Collection.

Snap, I feel the same way as you do, I've had copies of C&C for years, like since about 1995. In some case's two or more copies of the same software as discs have worn out. It helped me to start using my brain and co-ordinating my eyes and hands after suffering from three brain haemorrhages and 4 or 5 strokes I've being left virtually paralysed and useless. So they have already had hundreds of pounds off me. I feel they have lied to all their customers by trying to change a single purchase item into a cash machine that never stops taking money off customers. They should be ashamed at the way their ABUSING their customers. Fortunately I've still got most on DVD discs. This is one customer that EA games will never see again..

Really distasteful...
I too have the original discs, but I no longer have a CD-ROM Drive... Hence I cannot play these games. I was hoping to download the games through origin and use the CD Codes to play... But Alas... EA is this greedy corporation who does not care for its fan base...
