firestorm won't install

Question

C+C firestorm won't install in Win 10.&nbsp; Gave me the same message as Tiberian Sun (older varsion of OLEAUT32.DLL on your system - UPDATE AND RESTART.&nbsp; or run vbrun60.exe.), but I ran the vbrun60.exe and Tiberiam Sun started the install.&nbsp; Not the firestorm.&nbsp; Did all the same things and it will not begin the install.&nbsp; Just keeps giving the same message and then asks if I want to restart.

Are you talking about the CD installers? Nowadays, you're much better off using the fan-repacked version of the freeware release of the game.

Command &amp; Conquer 1,&nbsp;Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun are all freeware, and have all been upgraded with community-created unofficial patches that fix a lot of their bugs and compatibility problems. You can find them here:Command &amp; Conquer 1:

Complete No-CD game installation pack (v1.06c r3, no videos, all music included) (also contains bonus missions originally exclusive to the Playstation and Nintendo 64 versions of the game)
English videos pack (French and German video packs are also available on the website)

Red Alert 1:

Web installer/patcher + some extras like the expansion pack videos from the Playstation version

Tiberian Sun:

Full game (scroll down to "full game" and select "Full game (Windows)" in the dropdown)
