It's a low-spec phone. Even compared to a cheap Snapdragon SOC 625 based phone, it doesn't do that well:

Ahh okay, I guess they must be upping the phone requirements because I used to be able to run the game no problem.. Guess I gotta buy a new phone..

Maybe try playing the game on a PC via an Android emulator?

  I only have access to an old laptop right now, it runs with like 10fps and impossible to play as well.. They need to add a graphics option or a way to play with the older look because now this game I've put a bunch or time into a bit of money is completely unplayable. I expected some issues since the game isn't out yet, but not to make it so it can't run on devices that it once could..

Im having the same problem after being forced to version 1.2. My phone, while not the very top of the line, is no slouch. I use an LG V20. This game is supposed to launch December 4th. This is going to be a disaster if this issue isnt fixed and the masses start installing.
