Issues with Online
Hi There I have an issue with online connection. For some reason quickmatch, join and host have now been blanked out. This has just happened randomly .....
EA_Mako Based on my data (i am the creator of cncstats / https://cnc.kanedaspring.de ) - the issue started round about 23 Nov 2025. In average you have 20% or below rate for a success start. Affected are all regions.
For the guys which are investigating/developer or who know the game protocol :-) - there are few reasons why a custom multiplayer games don't start. Cause - dunno.
And about grey multiplayer buttons - It's always an issue about your account could not login to the coordinator(CNC EA Hub) - you will see it also in the game logs. (depending which log level is activated)

I’m reaching out as a dedicated player who’s been experiencing significant frustration with the online mode, which has been practically unplayable for over two weeks now. The issues — frequent disconnects, server lag, and matchmaking failures — have made it impossible to enjoy the game as intended.
To date, the only response we’ve received from support has been the standard “the team will look into it.” While that’s appreciated, it doesn’t provide the transparency or actionable information we as players deserve after such an extended period. I understand that technical challenges can arise, but surely by now someone on the team has had the opportunity to investigate these problems in depth.
Could you please provide a more helpful update? I’d love to get back to playing without these hurdles.

A small update from my side and observation. After pressing Start our lobby switch the state from pending to active. but few seconds later the lobby/match is dead. And we wait still in the game to connect (what never happens)
This I so faw I know mean, the game instance server crashed in a very early state. Standard maps worked yesterday better, custom not playable.
I hope its not a "the disk is full" issue.

I explained this theory to my team a week ago. As a result, we removed over 300 of our maps to potentially free up storage space. All the maps were custom-made, not stock maps. I suspect it's a database issue.

CCLPeSports well, the maps are stored at steam (steam version, how origin handle, i don't know). but to remove dead maps, tests etc., its a good idea.
The database for game results is still running
What I know, the game instance creation is fragile, no reconnect, a wrong character and it's crash. between disk full and windows /lib updates up to firewall kills it, everything is the lottery.
What ever happend, without looking on the AWS instances and the crash protocols, no fix. EA_Mako the strange thing is, last weekend there was times it was nearly down and in the other moment for hours it was running good and fast! And when I mean fast, really fast, no lags, longer games possible as usual.
