Kane's Wrath Maps

I'm having issues with custom maps and the Origin install of C&C KW.

I have made the registry update in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath and the map files are in C:\Users\Matt\AppData\Roaming\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath\Maps

(I also updated the notes for Command & Conquer just in case https://9apps.ooo/)

Can anyone provide any insight? I had the same issue with the Steam version (honestly not sure why I have both) and can switch over to that one if it's less problematical. If it matters, this is a Windows 11 system.

    Hi,

    For anyone still having issues with Kanes Wrath maps, I had a problem recently when the EA app installed an update to the C&C3 game.  All of the custom maps disappeared.  After searching the forums and looking for answers without any luck, I realised that the update had added a new folder in C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath/Maps which is subtly different to the folder that existed before, which was the same but with the word "and" instead of an ampersand - & character.  If you look at the .../Roaming level, you should see two folders.

    I moved my custom maps from the old folder to the new folder and they all appeared.

    NB: That I had already applied the regedit fix which is documented elsewhere on these pages.  I am using Windows 11.
