Maybe its because you have a high win rate. If you win 6 to 8 times in a row, the game attempts to pit you with players within your league or higher. If you have a lose streak, you'd be paired with easier opponents. Once every 6 to 8 battles, lose 2 to 3 times so you would be paired again with opponents in the same rank.
