I don't think that a scrolling RTS game would really work well on a mobile phone. The controls are just not good for that. With the old C&C games, you could assign hotkeys to your units and therefore select them quickly even when they were not visible on the screen at that moment. On a smartphone there is just no way to do that.

I see your point. I probably should’ve also mentioned that I play on my iPad. So I have a ton more screen to work with. And I’m not thinking that should be the exclusive way to play. I’d just like an additional game mode that has the old school bigger maps.
Any thoughts on the rest of my complaints?
