NOD Meta Deck - Scavenger New Meta Unit? - Discussion

Ladies &amp; Gentlemen, I believe the game has released a Top Tier Meta Unit!I think this is an unprecedented move by the Game Developers!I believe the new Scavenger unit is going to Shake the Meta.I would like to draw your attention to Exhibit AThe number 1 ranked NOD player in the World Suzaku!Notice, The Units Suzaku is using!Commander:-SethUnits:-Militants&nbsp;-Laser Squads-Attack Bikes-Scorpion&nbsp;-Venom-BansheeI believe we can agree Suzaku NOD deck is among the top tier meta NOD deck.We can’t be 100% sure if it is the very best NOD deck or not.However, we can agree it has to be among the best!I haven’t talked to Suzaku.I don’t know if he thinks his deck is the best or if it has room for improvement!The 1 thing we do know is he is ranked number 1 for NOD Faction.The deck used to help reach the number 1 status is the one we see before us!Thus, We are draw to the climax of this topics discussion!The Scavenger!The Scavengers are an Infantry Unit which is Anti-Truck &amp; Anti-Air.The Scavengers have the same stats as the Laser Squads.The Scavenger Cost 10 Tiberuim more vs. Laser SquadsHowever, The Scavenger have a passive ability which allows them to gain 10 tiberuim if neighbor allies die.Will the Release of the Scavenger make Laser Squads Obsolete?I believe the answer is Yes!Why use a unit which does nothing vs. a unit which gives you extra Tib.?I feel a dark cloud is falling over the Laser Squads.I think the Scavenger are going to ultimately replace them.However, before I jump to conclusions, I do want to bring up a few Hurdles which the Scavenger will need to overcome!For Example:Suzaku has his Laser Squads lvl 14.It is going to take time to lvl up the Scavenger’s to lvl 14.It might be to time consuming &amp; to costly to use the Scavengers.This is obviously a huge step the Scavenger will have to overcome.I feel like the Scavengers are going to be the next big deal meta unit!I feel the only thing holding the Scavenger back is they are under leveled at the moment.I think when people start leveling them to have equal levels as there Lasers.I think people will start replacing.What do you peeps think?Are the Laser Squads going to be Obsolete?Are you going to replace your Laser Squads with Scavenger?

Well, that is always the problem with any new unit: It will be seriously underlevelled when compared to units that you have been using for a long time. Sure, they want you to buy their overpriced bundles to overcome this problem that they have designed themselves. Those clever bastardş. 😉

Wow. You discovered the classis Nod aggro 2/2/2 deck at Suzaku's profile. What an accomplishment!

At this point, Scavangers aren't highly relatable to Suzaku, so the stadpoint of this post is stupid.

Scavangers are useful and thy are stong right now, because of marketing reasons.

Then, a few weeks later they nerf it to how it should really be.

The advertising company gets to pay them and the game gets to pay the account that's viewing the advertisement some credits. Right now, I have never run into a scavenger, but would like to see the unit get balanced. Having 10 credits per kill is quite cheap, even for an expensive unit like a tech unit. For every scavenger preset, a kill unit should yield 25% of the resources used on the killed unit. If a unit costs 120, you will get 30 for each scavenger present, capping at 50% as not to exploit the amount of tiberium present.
