It 'll be better to save your progress whan you logged out and harvesting will continue but at a slower pace than when you are play.
A few things are needing to be understood in order to create an efficient tiberium harvesting.
A SILO - SPEEDS UP PRODUCTION OF TIBERIUM OR CRYSTALS - IT also adds storage. (each upgrade speeds up the production. and lowers wait before bonus)
A Harvester - harvests crystals and tiberium-- Produces more of each, proportionally to the time taken. (but does also take longer to get bonus the higher the level.
A CONTRUSTION POINT - EACH TIME YOU BUILD SOMETHING IT TAKE A CONTRUCTION POINT, AND THEY ARE LIMITED- SO BUILD HIGHER LEVEL BUILDINGS OVER LOTS OF LOW LEVEL ONES.
FROM THIS, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE MORE HARVESTERS YOU HAVE OR THE HIGHER LEVEL THE HARVESTER, THE LONGER IT WILL TAKE TO GET A BONUS.
Also THE MORE SILOS You Have (OVER LVL 1) OR The HIGHER The LEVEL OF THE SILO, THE QUICKER THE HARVESTER WILL PRODUCE TIBERIUM/CRYSTALS AND THE BONUS.
So from this you can gather that is is good to have HIGHER LEVEL CONSTRUCTIONS OVER lots of lower level ones.
Therefore- JUST FOR MAX TIBERIUM/CRYSTAL PRODUCTION, PLACE A SINGLE SILO IN A POSITION WHERE IT CAN CONNECT WITH THE MOST HARVESTERS.
HOVER YOUR MOUSE OVER THE SILO WHEN YOU HAVE PLACED IT AND COUNT HOW MANY ARROW, THEN REPLACE AND COUNT HOW MANY ARROWS, EFFECTIVELY THE MORE ARROWS YOU HAVE THE BETTER.
Then HOVER OVER AGEING AND NOTICE IT WILL EITHER SAY "MAX" OR GIVE A PERCENTAGE, Now YOU ALWAYS WANT IT TO SAY MAX, SO ALWAYS UPGRADE THE SILO/SILOS SO THAT THEY = DOUBLE THE LEVEL OF THE HARVESTER.
THIS WILL GIVE YOU BALANCE BETWEEN BONUSES AND FAST TRICKLE OF TIBERIUM/CRYSTALS.
