Re: red alert3 d3dx9_35.dll missing

Try to (re)install DirectX9 update package. This should install any missing DX9 files:

  1. Most likely you can find Dx9 installation under your Red Alert 3 game's installation folder...
  2. ...or (if you can't find it) you can download it from here  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
  3. then find "DXSETUP.exe", and run that to install the missing components.

    this works.

    ran directx installer from red alert3 installation folder as suggested in option#1 and the game started up 🙂
