It is actually compatible with Windows 7.
Not compatible with everyone's hardware and software setups, thats totally different.
So while browsing the forums for help I found the following post, which is identical to the problem I'm having....
I can't find anyway how to fix this issue I"m having.
I bought the collection of all the C&C. I specifically want to play Tiberian 4: twlight.
I login my user and password correctly. Then it asks to put in the key to register. I do so and it says its already in use. Sounds to me like Origin and the EA launcher for the game aren't in sync. Both Origin and EA has the same login for me so I'm not sure whats wrong. Again no where EASY to find how to fix this. So if anyone can repost some help here would be awesome."]
Then, I saw (what I assume is the response) below, and tried to do it.
ZERO HOUR
Registry is corrupt and has been altered
How to fix:
1. Open the Registry Editor by typing "regedit" at the bottom of the start menu, in the search box ( windows 7)
2. navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Electronic Arts -> EA Games -> Generals]-> ergc
3. check that your product key is shown there as a value for REG_SZ
4. copy and paste your product key to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Electronic Arts -> EA Games -> Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour -> ergc
tip: you can get your product key by opening up Origin -> My Games -> Generals -> info window]
However, when I navigated to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->" path, there was no Electronic Arts to select. (There wasn't an 'Origin' either)...So I am trying to figure out why this happened and what to do about it, or if the registry post was even the solution I need (I noticed that it says 'zero hour' so I'm unsure)...Thank you for your time.

same issue here.... there isnt a ea option after software.....??????
Contacted EA yesterday regarding running RA2:YR on my windows 8 machine. If i set my resolution higher than 800x600 the screen gets bigger but I cant move my mouse out of the 800x600 area. And the in game menu instantly crashes the game. Anyone solved this issue?

You are playing the game on Windows 8.1. Yuris Revenge is a 14 year old game. It's not supported by windows 8. please refer AnswersHQ and you would get an answer there.
