red alert 1 wont install on windows 8.1 64 bit.. any ideas on a way to make it install?

You try to install it via the cd's/Iso's right? not origin?

What exactly is going wrong with the installation at the moment?
it wont install I have used all compatibility settings it just keeps telling me wrong os.. check vendor for a compatible version
