Red Alert 3 and Red Alert 3 Uprising is not working with Origin

Hello, i've recently bought C&C collection and tried to play RA3 & Uprising but is not working. When i try to open RA3 , firstly, splash screen appears (about 7 seconds) then the splash screen disappears and nothing happens. Also same with the Uprising (splash screen disappears only half second and thats all). Tried every possible solution in this forum and also on google etc.. but still can't fix my issue.

Lastly, i tried to install RA3  from my friends retail copy and it works perfectly on my computer, so it has to be something with origin. Please help me with this problem, but "DO NOT" tell me to uninstal and re-install or updating my Graphic card's driver because as i sad before, it works perfectly with a retail copy of RA3.

    Perhaps there's an update issue, ensure that your Windows is totally up to date. Restarting with a Clean Boot is another good test in case some 3rd party program is causing unexpected interference.


    It's worth opening your Reliability Monitor and checking if there's a red x to indicate a RA3 crash, it might help find the source of the issue.

    I know it's kinda late, but I had similar problem lately and I solved it.

    My installation folder was too deep in the folder structure - D:GRY\Origin\Origin Games\   So I manually took whole installation folder and put it in just D:\GRY - and it worked:D

    So basically just uninstall (to be perfectly sure) and change installation destination in Origin to some other folder. But be sure it's not too deep. You're free to try it with just moving the folder to see if it really work though.

    If that is indeed the issue, the fact the default is under "Program Files" probably doesn't help -_-
