C&C Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge

Hi,

i own the Ultimate Collection, bought over EA, just contacted the support but they want or cant help, said game is no longer supported. Thats an absolute user unfriendly answer.

But back to my problem, is start the game over ea app, game starts, windows with activation pops up i enter my credentials, the windows closes and iam back in the ea app. nothing more happens, game did not start.

If i entered incorrect credentials, its been recognized as uncorrect user or password, but with correct ones the failure as mentiond above happens.

Maybe anyone could help.

  • That seems like an issue with the EA app, not with the game. RA2 never had any activation dialogs like that.

    Did you try running the game directly from its install folder? If that works, it completely proves it's not an issue with the game.

    Hi Nyerguds,

    thx for your reply. Yes i tried this, and set it in compatibility mode as well as start it explicit with administrative rights, nothing helped.
    All results are the same, i get the activtion screen. Maybe it is because it is a german game, iam from germany. I attach the failaure as jpg, hope it will help a little, but as i  mentioned, its german language.

    I dont have any other ideas, starting any exe, ra2, ra2launcher or game, all ends here.

  • That's... extremely trippy. Might be something wrong with the German language version specifically? I know that RA1 has such issues; for some reason, the added expansion units are completely broken in the German and French release.

    So, just as a test, try switching the game to English, and see if it still gives this same dialog.
