Dear All

1 more update from EA = 1 more problem for the gamers.

All this years, we was set at RA2.INI and RA2MD.INI file, the commands:

[Video]

AllowHiResModes=yes

VideoBackBuffer=no

ScreenWidth=1920

ScreenHeight=1080

StretchMovies=no

And play at 1080p resolution.

After the update at Ver.1.001TUC nothing work, the game can play at 1024x768 max.

1) Why EA kill that option?

2) How can I play at 1080p like old days?

For the 1 question, I can answer, EA games have a hobby, to make problems, even if that there are not exist.

For the question 2 I need help.

    @931c3eb17549e691 The option wasn't "killed". They added a compatibility dll (DDrawCompat) to generally make the game work much better on modern systems. However, that dll comes with a system that restricts the resolutions to a set of specifically-configured ones.

    To fix this, edit "DDrawCompat.ini" and change the "SupportedResolutions" line to "SupportedResolutions = native". Then it'll accept any resolutions.

    Hello,

    the resolution is now free to change, but I don´t get the game properly running. 1st of all it is now a window in a black frame, I´d like to have it full screen (HiRes is not relevant for me tbh) and 2nd it has now a mismatch in all "levers" in the options screen and the map previews are also not shown correctly, so a selection is not possible.

    Is there somewhere an option to go back to the stable version, which was used before?
