Solution to fix matching

95% of the game that I played today are against people with higher level units than mine. I am losing 75% of the matches. I was climbing-up the ladder when the 1st March reset came. I was at Masters league for GDI and Nod before the reset. Now I am at level 1 diamond league. At higher level play, an opponent that has unit 2 level higher than mine AFFECTS A LOT.

The matching should use points system. There is 6 unit cards and 1 commander card with various levels of upgrade. Each level of upgrade should carry a certain number of points. A player should be always be matched against player with equal number of points.  Suppose

A unit with level 9 upgrade without training would carry 9 points.

A unit with level 9 upgrade witth 1 training would carry 9.25 points

A unit with level 9 upgrade with 2 training would carry 9.5 points

A unit with level 9 upgrade with 3 training would carry 9.75 points

A unit with level 10 upgrade without training would carry 10 points

Thus Player A with 6 unit card + 1 commander card (a total of 7 cards) of 9 points each would have 63 points. Player A would ONLY match with opponents plus minus difference of 3 points only. The game is rigged to the max without this solution.

Developer please implement this

i had the same fought but u can totaly exploit it by putting in units that are super los or dont need a high lvl to do the job. but for sure we need some solution to this problem because its no fun to lose against someone just because he got higher lvl units
  • I think the developers need to take in many elements to make a good matchmaking algorithm.  Player unit level would just be one source.  They also need to consider player level, highest medal count achieved, player experience (how long the player has been actively playing), and win:loss ratio (both long term and recent).

As others have mentioned, they should also consider reducing the likelihood of repeatedly playing against the same person especially if you've lost to them more than once.

This one I disagree with. Normally in a match, I would defeat an opponent, but I had a special case where I hesitated before launching the 2nd nuke. I ordered all my units to vacate the pads so I could delay the match and train 3 cyborgs for a quest. I had to camp to prevent the enemy from using the charged nuke against me. The player I fought is very pitiful. He/she (can't tell the person behind the account, but it feels like I met the person before) has been in the game ever since its public release, and only reached either silver or gold rank. I also noticed that the person will play an average of 1 to 2 times a day. What is very creepy is the name of the account, it would looks like the short hand form of the words big and ex-(n)friend. The N is the gender, either boy or girl. At the start of the match, I sent a lazer squad scout to harass the harvester, the first thing player did was send a scorpion tank against two of my lazer squads. The commander card the account was using was Jade, whom I haven't unlocked. Two of the catalyst missiles that were fired were inadvertently dodged by tick tanks when I told them to regroup. Another two hit a lazer squad and a cyborg. I then rushed and defeated the base, inadvertently attacking the severely ruined base whilst firing a nuke. Which was quite a humiliation, something I would normally not do. I just wish I know the person behind the account or meet the person again on another match and willingly have myself defeated for that incident. I also wanted to invite the said person to the alliance so I can train him/her manually myself. I was taught by @xMaksuss, and wished to do the same thing to this pitiful player. I know there are some girls out there that play games like these, I just don't know the percentage, like 10 or 20%. That's why I said he/she etc.

Me too. I think it's a bad idea. I have come back to beat people that previously wipe the floor with me.

Also sometimes I try different units and lose while trying out these different units.

I just wished that the Moderators/developers would PM me regarding the person behind the account I'm concerned with. Knowing which country the person lives in is enough for me. I should probably mention the player ID in privacy with said developer. Actually knowing who the person is would actually help me a lot better. I mean I had this strange gut feeling after I defeated the account in a match. The same gut feeling I felt was when I attended a church meeting and felt it on the first session cause I knew my crush (who probably hates me) was somewhere within the crowd. I didn't know where she was. I didn't feel the gut feeling after the 1st session and my crush's name was never registered on other sessions, only the 1st one.

Sorry. I was just very concerned about the person. Maybe I should, like this Sunday. I feel like there's something very special on that Sunday, its our church's anniversary.
