Tunnel Exits

Hi can someone please help me explain how thes work. I am trying but it is very confusing the more technical you get. I will post what i have tried to write, but i am strggling around 3b/c i just seem to contradict myself. please read through and tell me where i am going wrong. Many thanks in advance.

Charles Ingram.

The Best position your main base can be is to land close to a tunnel exit up to 6 lvls above your offense lvl to have a greater chance to spawn "big" outposts!. Depending on your set up and if you are using funds you should always keep the TE between 4-6 lvls above your offense. When we say (number) spaces away from a TE it is in a circle from TE.

 But:

1. Have in mind that you have to leave free space between you and the tunnel (2-6 spaces) or else the tunnel will spawn much less outposts.

2a. If your offense lvl is for example 19 and you lay close to a 27lvl Tunnel Exit  (TE), you will not get any outposts or:

2b. If your offense lvl is for example 27 and you lay close to a 19lvl tunnel, you will not get any outposts.

2c. If your offense is lvl27 you should be at a TE lvl31-32 and as your offense goes up a lvl so should the TE that your located at. THIS APPLIES TO MAIN BASES OR OTHER HIGH LVL OFFENSE BASES. ('Please see our FAQ's to understand how many offense bases you should have').

2d. All other bases with up to 6 lvls lower then the tunnel exit should stay 7+ spaces away from TE.

3a. The TE's can spawn outposts only -2/+5 lvls of the Tunnel exit lvl, meaning if the TE is a lvl28 it can spawn outposts from lvl's 26-33 depending on your Offense lvl

3b. If your offense lvl is 27 and you land close to a lvl 31 TE, you will get a maximum of lvl 33 outposts or:

3c. If your offense lvl is 27 and you lay close to a lvl 26 TE, you will get a maximum of lvl 28 outposts.

4. But don't stay at a tunnel exit for too long: as your offense increases by a lvl you move  to  a Tunnel Exit (TE) 1 lvl higher also!

5. You should always build in groups you will get many more outposts that way.

6. You should always communicate with fellow players so you can get the highest lvl offense closest to the TE. then other main offense bases slightly further away just by 1 space is enough for it to work.

7. Any Base with Command center that is lower lvl that is within 7 spaces in a circle from TE, will stop the TE from spawning outposts,  It will spawn only camps until that base is moved away or it's command center and army is sold.

8a. If you have a situation where you hold an area with a POI in the middle and the holding bases are stopping the TE/s from working Move the holding bases to the edge of that area to help hold the borders back, just until the main bases need to move on the re-take poi if needed. Never hold POI's with main bases or 2nd/3rd offense bases. Sometimes it can't be avoided that a holding base is in the way, just find another location.

8b. You could have 3-4 main bases all within 1-4 spaces of a TE and the have a holding bases 7 or more spaces away and the outposts wont be affected, but if you have several main bases at a TE make sure you are all roughly the same lvl offense.

9. Would also like to add that it is better to drop a tunnel exit lvl or 2 to be with a group of main bases at 2-3 tunnel exits, as you will have far more outposts to choose from so you can pick the easier ones 🙂
