In my opinion ETA needs to make money so this is a bad idea for them however I believe that you should be able to demote your units in the level that they are at so if you are maxed out at level nine I say that you can demote them back to base nine.
Or find a way to throw away the excess cards. I have some that are too much for one level, and it takes too long to bring a high level unit to be fully trained. The time it takes to bring a very high level unit is more than enough to refill all the cards. EA is just making it slower for us so we'd pay. I kind of like it to the point I'm not paying. If I do have an official salary, I could help EA by doing a monthly investment on them. All they have to do is fuel both my accounts with a small and steady stream of gems and credits. Probably 10% goes to them, a 15 to 20% goes to tithing and 35 to 20% goes to the bank. I'd only use half my salary.
