Predator 1v1 beats a scorpion (same cost)
Pitbull 1v1 beats a bike squad (bikes are slightly cheaper)
MLRS moving into position, setting up, and fires kills a giga who was shooting it the whole time (giga costs 10 tib more)
Mohawk is a better gunship than the banshee and costs less. Sure, no air attack, but you have talons (30) with the same air attack as a banshee (60). So if you build 2 talons, you take down a banshee and don't lose a single unit.
Scarabs (30) get destroyed by snipers (50) and mg teams (30)
I can keep going too. But I'll stop there. At the end of the day, pound for pound, GDI is better, and this is a fact. NOD has some gimmicks like stealth tanks and tick tanks that are meh at best while almost every gdi unit found in the barracks/warfactory/helipad are all very solid choices.
However, just because GDI can usually take the solo win doesn't mean you should play them like that. Group up, cover your units weaknesses and you will be fine.
GDI is better than NOD, and that is a fact I can prove. But they do the same thing over and over. However, NOD is more fun to play. They make big explosions, run around with their speed and reposition, etc.

speed wins the game because reposition is easy counter. gdi cant counter infantery in a good way so its easy to abuse that together with superior speed u just destroy GDi... only chance GDi got is win by lvl advantage or being lucky that nod isnt running a decent lineup
- Gotta say, if you are losing to infantry, you are doing something terribly wrong. GDI has just as many answers to infantry as NOD does.
But let me break it down for you how badly NOD has it. Equal levels, alright?
Scorpion tank (60 tib) needs to shoot predator tank 5 times to kill it.
Predator tank (60 tib) needs to shoot scorpion tank 3 times to kill it.
This means that the predator tank survives with enough HP to leave the SECOND scorpion tank as a 1 shot for the second predator tank. Make this trade enough times and there is no coming back.Yeah, but then they bring their rocket troops against your tank and soon the Predator doesn't look so healthy anymore. ;-)
- predators beat rocket troops. Predators beat jump jet troopers. I mean, if you wanna be fancy and keep the paint, then feel free to run away and bring in some anti-infantry but right now, just bring more tanks. It's pretty silly.
And before someone goes and sits a pred beside a laser troop and it dies and the call me a liar, tanks have raider. This means you shoot the rocket troops as they try to chase you around the map. You do constant dps, they hit you every now and then. You will clean them up without issue. Stack enough tanks together and these issues get less and less.
