Chapter 10 Objective Bug
I am playing on the PS5 and I ran into a bug. After escaping the Hunter from the Nexus Hub, my objective changed to one that is written in Unitology writing. I continue through the game and I destroy all of the tendrils but the objective never changed. I went into the room after where a cut scene was supposed to happen but nothing happens.I checked a walkthrough video and the objective should have changed to "destroy the tendrils" before taking the lift down from the Mess Hall. Due to this issue, I cannot progress any further. I have one manual save and the autosaves happened later on so they do not bring me back before entering the Nexus. My playthrough is ruined.
A game breaking bug like this makes me want to fight for a refund.
Thoughts EA/Motive?
They fixed it but it's a little wonky. To change the objective from the Scientologist writing to the next, back track towards the Central Nexus until it changes. Then progress through the Standard Quarters even though the first tendril is destroyed, then back track to the Central Nexus. Allow the door to close before going back into the Crew Quarters and the objective will change. Go to the Crew Quarters and open the first door which will then complete the objective. Do the same for the Executive Quarters and then you can go to the Steward's Quarters to continue the story. Thanks EA/Motive!
