Unable to progress in game. After putting in the missing battery in the engine room, I’m stuck on “standby” waiting for the computer to allow me to interact with it. I have tried reloading the game and still the same result. Same with reloading a farther back save. I looked up what’s supposed to happen online, and apparently an ambush of necromorphs are supposed to occur before the computer switches to interact. Can’t seem to trigger the ambush that would allow me to progress.

@jdfugate2394 After the latest patch can you try an older save and check if this continues?

Stuck in chapter 3. Restarting the whole game now. Perhaps you should have waited a little longer for the release.

@girl_lawliet I reloaded a save around this point. I got the ambush to trigger but was stuck on "engines firing" on the console. I reloaded and now the console in the engine room says it needs power but there is no battery and no ambush. Can't progress in game either, bug fix needed.

When entering the room for the first time the screen says "Clutch Engaged: Activate Console" - despite having not reattached the spinning generators yet. Even after doing so and the voice comes on saying "ready to activate" - I activate the panel, get the cut scene, but then the elevators don't work so I can't leave the room.

I’m having the exact same problem. I read that an enemy is supposed to spawn after connecting the batteries to the centrifuge, but they aren’t spawning for me. Also, once I active the centrifuge I cannot progress as the elevator is not working.I have no idea what to do as I have tried to restart the game and upload saved games 10+ times.

I am currently on Chapter 3 and I read that an enemy is supposed to spawn after connected the batteries to the centrifuge, but none are spawning. Also, when I go to activate the centrifuge the elevator does not work so I cannot progress. I have tried reloading saved data and restarting the game 10+ times. I don’t know what else to do.

I have the same problem that is described by the other players in this topic.
Reinstaling the game won't work and i only had 1 save file so the others were autosaves and that won't help either.

@girl_lawliet I’m having the same issue too. Enemies don’t spawn, elevators don’t work, can’t progress. Loading other saves doesn’t fix it either.

Same bug happened for me in ignite the engines manually i.e. no attack happened after installing the battery. But could hear a necro, like maybe it had spawned somewhere I couldn’t see.

Started 2 Feb when I first reached that point (fixed by reloading save from outside the room and doing exactly the same but this time the attack did spawn after installing the battery)

Yes, had another complete progression failure earlier in chapter 3 where Refuel the Engines (South) task remained outstanding even though I’d pulled down the lever. Had to replay the game again from the start.
Also in chapter 3 I had a necro spawn under the floor in the small room with sinks next to the control room (arms sticking out the floor).
