Dead space 2 won't launch and gives black screem

Question

Hello everyone,I tried playing dead space 2 yesterday and it launched as normal. After it opened it asked me to fill in my EA account details but i play with a controller on pc and it did not continue and backed out of the game to set up my controller and I wanted to play again and just gave me black screen. it wont launch and kicks me out.I played before in 2020 and everything always worked.What I already did :uninstalled the game and re downloaded it again.i even uninstalled it again and bought the game again on again. downloaded it again and tried to launch and now the same thing happened. just a black screen.I tried to look online for solutions but I am not that techy and sometimes dont understand how to change game files and that stuff.What i did see is that it still uses my old download from 2020 in the game files itself..what i also found out is when trying to check the game is that its missing a file..ssleay32.dll file is missing.Can someone help me please. ?i can give out even my contact details if someone wished to use teamviewer or something.GP65 Leopard 10SEKMicrosoft Windows 11 Home (64-bit)Memory 16 GBProcessor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHzMotherboard Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. - MS-16U7Video Cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060Monitors LG Display LP156WFG-SPBHard Disk WDC PC SN530 SDBPNPZ-512G-1032 (512,0 GB)Network Card Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller

Try to repair the game.
(Origin &gt; Game Library &gt; right click Dead space 2 &gt; Repair)(Steam &gt; Game Library &gt; right click at Dead space 2 &gt; Properties &gt; Local Files &gt; Verify integrity of game files.)

If that not helps, create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that&nbsp; with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.&nbsp;

@KamiDZ You may need to change CPU core affinity for it to work, on some 10+ core systems the game may refuse to launch as the wiki states: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dead_Space_2
